Verastar
Supporter Amy Stirling recently encouraged her employees – telecommunication service provider Verastar to hold various fundraising events in the office. She also took part in the Manchester to Blackpool Night ride with her Dad and Cousin.
Verastar then kindly matched the funds raised. The result was a massive £2716. Well done and Thank you to both Amy and all the staff.
Further to a Summer of Fun ……
Ellie and Lucas decided to Fund raise for New Start after their Uncle underwent a heart Transplant in 2013. They spent the Summer Holidays undertaking 5k runs, cycle rides and hiking up Scafell Pike. Yesterday they came into the Centre to present us with a cheque for £2200. They had also raised the same amount for a Cancer Charity. A fantastic achievement and well done Ellie and Lucas (and Mum and Dad for their support)
