Refurbishment of the Transplant Bungalows
The long over due refurbishment of our bungalows is under way. The whole programme will take about 12 weeks but at the end they will have new kitchens, bathrooms and decorated through out. Watch this space for updates on the progress

Barry Hamblin RIP
Please take a moment to remember our dear friend and colleague Barry Hamblin who sadly passed away last week.Over the past 25 years, he played a vital part in making sure that the donor organs were delivered safely to Wythenshawe Hospital.
Moira Tollitt
Moira had a heart and lung transplant nearly 23 years ago. She recently presented a cheque to the staff at Wythenshawe Transplant Unit for £1000
NW Charity Singers
NW Charity singer are a group of singers, whose aim is to help local charities through music.
They held a presentation evening recently and presented New Start with a very generous cheque for £2500. That’s a lot of pennies going in those collecting buckets guys!

Alan and Maria held a coffee morning at their local Church in Egremont ,Cumbria to celebrate the Anniversary of Alan’s Lung Transplant. They donated £500 to New Start.
