We are pleased to announce that Heart Recipient David Ayre has completed his 50 mile walk along Northumberland Way and raised £3600 for New Start and the ECMO service at UHSM. Fantastic achievement David less than 12 months after Transplant.
Along with his family, friends and some familiar faces from the unit Dave took on this challenge Starting in Amble at 10.00am on Saturday 30th April 2016, walking over 4 days through Craster, Seahouses, Belford, Fenwick and finishing in Berwick (50 miles).
